The Pokemon Bank service is scheduled to finally begin later this month. The subscription service will begin on December 27th, and will cost $4.99 a year. Newcomers to the program can try it for a month for free.

Pokemon Bank allows players of Pokemon X, Y, Black, White, Black 2, or White 2 to transfer Pokemon between the titles. You can store up to 3000 Pokemon in private boxes online, and you can also transfer them between multiple copies of the same game as well. The service works hand in hand with Poke Transporter, shown above, which actually does the transferring of Pokemon between games and boxes.
