The developers behind the excellent looking Pier Solar HD have confirmed that the game will be coming to Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.

In a very up front and honest developer update, Watermelon Games President Tulio Goncalves revealed that their multiple attempts at getting the game on Xbox 360 and Xbox One got practically no response from Microsoft.

In comparison, they have been licensed to develop on Playstation since the conclusion of their Kickstarter. In their blog update, Tulio even demos the game running on a Playstation 3 and a Playstation 4.

Since posting this update, it seems Microsoft has contacted them:

“Microsoft has contacted us! They got a hold of us, we talked by phone, and it looks like good news will be coming along! Many thanks to all of you who sided with us and supported our game! As soon as we have more information we will share with all of you. Thank you, guys!”

However, this isn’t confirmation that the game will still be making it to Xbox, although there seems to still be hope.
