Murasaki Baby is the new game from Sony and Ovosonico’s partnership, which was announced back in March.

Ovosonico is headed by former Grasshopper Manufacture (Killer7, No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned) director Massimo Guarini.

Ovosonico is all about creating fresh new IPs and Murasaki Baby is definitely something fresh and new looking, you can check out the debut trailer below:

Murasaki Baby is a game that is apparently entirely designed and hand-crafted on paper, the devs are touting it as a game to challenge typical gaming conventions.

The art style is very Tim Burton-like, something you’d see in a child’s nightmare or something. Whatever you consider it, I think it looks downright awesome.

The game is a 2D adventure game where you control Baby, a vulnerable little girl who wakes up in a strange world filled with children’s fantasies and nightmares.
