This game hit me from out of nowhere, Cradle is a very mysterious, beautiful and yet relaxing game. The guys behind the title go by the wacky name of Flying Cafe for semianimals, veterans of games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Heroes of Might and Magic V, Ascension to the Throne, etc.

The game is about a man waking up in a yurt in the Mongolian hills, with a malfunctioning robot girl named Ida. Your ultimate goal is to repair her and in the process reveal the mystery behind the neglected entertainment park nearby. The official description for the game calls it a “science fiction first-person quest”, you can read it in full below:

“Cradle is a science-fiction first-person quest with freedom of movement. The story is built around the relations of the protagonist and a mechanical girl, who by enigmatic circumstances find themselves together in a yurt among the desert Mongolian hills. The player is to restore the lost functions of his companion’s mechanical body parts and together reveal the mystery of the neglected entertainment park found not far from the yurt.”
