Capcom is going through some corporate “re-organizing” today, which is PR speak for people getting fired. Best wishes to everyone affected, Capcom’s Senior VP Christian Svensson has even stepped down because of the whole affair.

Svensson has been with Capcom for eight years, his departure will definitely be felt within the company and the community. Details regarding who else has been affected or how many have been affected have not come out.

If we take into consideration the fact that Capcom is calling this a “restructuring” means the amount of staff affected will probably be in the double digits unfortunately.
